BEHIND THE KITCHEN BENCH
A local family man, Anthony grew up with a passion for food and cooking.
Leaving straight from school to an apprenticeship at the Madison Inn, Charlestown his skills were quickly developed through strong mentoring and his drive and passion to be successful as a chef.
After completing his apprenticeship he was challenged to travel overseas and further develop his skills working throughout Europe. With his passion for cooking still alive he returned to Newcastle securing head chef/manager positions at the Brewery Brassiere and Rafferty’s Resort.
Newly married Anthony along with his wife Sheree stepped out on their own and opened The Heights Café Deli, Cardiff in 2004. Anthony’s passion to produce the freshest and highest of quality products consolidated the success of his new venture.
Today we have three successful outlets servicing Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and Maitland with an ever growing client base.
